It was a record breaking day for U.S. ecommerce with Cyber Monday seeing companies bring in over $3.45 billion, the most revenue ever earned online in a single day.
According to data gathered from Adobe Digital Insights, Cyber Monday sales increased by 12.1% in 2016, exceeding initial predictions and surpassing the $3.34 billion record that was set only a few days earlier on Black Friday.
Black Friday also raised the bar this year, breaking the $3 billion mark in U.S. sales for the first time.
From November 24 to November 28th, over $12.81 billion was spent online, up 16.4% from 2015. This further shows the vast revenue potential of capitalizing on the Black Friday and Cyber Monday mayhem.
