In an attempt to simplify its ad buying process, Snap Inc. has unveiled a self-serve ad manager. Beginning in June, anyone will be able to buy and manage Snap Ads through a mobile dashboard that manages Snap video ads and sponsored geofilter campaigns. It also includes a Business Manager site that lets you customize the permissions of your Snap Ad buying team. Previously, Snap Ads could only be purchased through the Snap Inc. sales team or third-party partners.
The ad manager will allow smaller businesses to easily buy and manage campaigns across Snapchat, something that may have previously seemed too onerous. The ad manager itself includes tools and reporting features that will allow advertisers to fine-tune targeting capabilities and goal-based bidding settings as well as optimize videos and audience lists.

Currently being tested by a handful of select brands, the ad manager is set to become widely available in June for businesses in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Australia and a few other select regions. Once launched, smaller advertisers looking to connect with younger demographics may want to explore Snapchat as an option.
