Mobile ecommerce, or mcommerce, is set to break $250 billion by 2020. The forecast comes from a UPS-backed report derived from a survey of over 5000 online shoppers.
Seventeen percent of all transactions will start on smartphones and millennials, who already represent 66% of mobiles purchases, are driving this growth as consumers become both more accustomed to, and comfortable with, one-click checkouts on mobiles sites and within apps.
